In the recent past, FDSA’s Arusha and Dar Es Salaam offices made a significant difference through our Outreach Programme. Our dedicated teams brought essential medical services directly to underserved remote communities, ensuring that those who needed help most received it.
The Muhimbili Outreach Project was a testament to our commitment. We supported 16 hospitals in Bugando, 20 in Northern Tanzania via Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College, and 15 in Southern and Central Tanzania through Muhimbili Specialist Outreach. These efforts were instrumental in providing specialised care to vulnerable populations, including disadvantaged patients and their families, while also supporting local health workers and specialists.
