According to the World Health Organization, every year, between 50,000 to 100,000 women worldwide are affected by obstetric fistula.

Magdaline Aoko, 67, finally found relief from a 20-year battle with obstetric fistula after a successful surgery at Homa Bay County Referral Hospital. This effort brings hope to the 24,000 women in Kenya needing corrective surgeries.
